There has been a lot of recent attention regarding the slaughter of horses for meat. Many say, "Well, they're just farm animals." The idea obviously being that it's okay to kill any animal on a farm for food.
Is this the heart of humanity? Are we so ingrained with the notion that killing for food is essential for our survival? Have you ever seen the fear in an animal's eye awaiting slaughter? Have you ever seen the tenderness that animals show for their young? Their friendship for humans?
We DO NOT need to kill animals for food. Yes, this would mean that there would be less need for pigs, cows, goats, lambs, .... But it doesn't mean that they would all have to become extinct, either.
The question for you is, "If it's okay to slaughter animals, isn't okay to slaughter people?" Once in a killing way, how can humanity ever live at peace with each other if you don't value the life of other creatures? When is killing acceptable? Is it ever?
Oh you hypocrites and pharisees, do you not see the fallacy and folly of your ways? Killing attract killing. That is the Law!
